Left Petit Jean Park and my vehicle started hesitating and seemed to be losing power. I was on my way toward I-40 so I googled car repairs and found Arkansas Auto. After speaking with Steve, I drove over to the shop. Steve performed diagnostics on the vehicle and figured out what the problem was in about 20 minutes. In another 20 minutes we were on our way down the highway. Steve did the diagnostics, performed a repair without any parts needed and charged us a surprisingly reasonable amount.
Had an '07 Silverado transmission needing to be rebuilt. Done enough business with transmission shops from Little Rock area shops to know that expecting the job to be done right the first time and at a fair price is just too much to ask. I found an ad on Facebook Market for rebuilding only GM transmissions. Their transmission guy does an excellent job, and they had the transmission removed, rebuilt and replaced in less than two days and for much less cost than the Little Rock transmission shops. Well worth my drive from North Little Rock! I will definitely keep Arkansas Auto in Morrilton in mind when my friends or I have GM transmission issues in the future! Thanks guys for making my transmission issues a lot less stressful.
Broke down called steve at 900pm friday night.met him at the shop at 930am Saturday morning. Back on the road n a few hours. Very satisfied
Took my 2000 Ford Mustang to this shop for a motor swap in late Feb-early March of this year. The first motor that was put in my car was the wrong motor for my car. Went around and around with the owner about making it right. He finally agreed to put a different motor in my car. We paid him for a 4.6 motor with around 40,000 Miles. The second motor he put in our car had over 70,000 Miles according to the owner. He refused to give us any paperwork for this motor. The 2nd motor put in our car was bad also. Have spent $900 at another shop trying to fix the car only to find out there is catastrophic mechanical failure in the second motor. Finally got in touch with the owner, who promised he was going to find the right motor for our car and he has been avoiding phone calls since. My husband went to the shop today and was told the owner, David Lavoie, had moved to California and was closing the business. So we are out a lot of money and have a car with a bad motor. This shop will not stand by their word or their work. We have been more then patient trying to work with the owner to make this right and he refuses. I hate leaving a bad review for any business, but since they refuse to do right by their mistake this is the only choice I have.
Thank you had 3 Little Rock Trans shops build our Trans for costs between $1400-$1900 1st one lasted 2 weeks would not honor warranty said truck overheated our fault (never overheated}....2nd trans lasted 16 miles towed truck back said it needed hard parts or some BS at a cost of get this $900 more. 3rd Trans lasted 4 days done by Robs Transmission (who now is out of business). You built ours 5 months ago works perfect and you also gave us all of the junk parts from the last 3 builders. You also did the job in 2 days for $1000.00. Thank you for your honesty. To anybody reading this these guys are straight up no BS.
To have someone come meet you at their place of business on a Sunday afternoon, and do what's necessary to save your trip is a great reminder that some days are really blessed. Steve was that blessing today!
